Dr. Ori Hampel

Ori Hampel, MD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology. He earned his BA from Case Western Reserve University, where he was elected into Phi Beta Kappa as he completed a triple major in biochemistry, English, and chemistry. He then received his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and moved to Houston, Texas, for post graduate training in general surgery and urology. Since completing his urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1998, Dr. Hampel has been practicing adult and pediatric urology and urologic surgery in the Greater Houston Area. He was named one of “Houston’s Top Docs” by H-Texas Magazine. Dr. Hampel has served the Harris County Medical Society on the Board of Socioeconomics and on the Managed Care Committee. He also served as a Delegate to the Texas Medical Association House of Delegates.

Dr. Hampel is well known to the Greater Houston Area as an expert on healthcare reform. He has been a frequent guest speaker on talk radio in Texas and other states. He has been a very active educator of the public on the dangers and costs posed to patients by PPACA (“ObamaCare”) as well as by other existing Government regulations and agencies. Dr. Hampel is co-founder and vice-president of the Texas Chapter of Docs4PatientCare.

Dr. Hampel and his wife, Daniella, have been blessed by four exceptional children. He enjoys skiing and playing soccer. He is also an avid chess player and has achieved the ranking of “Candidate Master” by the U.S. Chess Federation.
